The University of Ibadan Research and Development Fair (UIRESDEV) was established as part of the efforts to promote the spirit of enquiry, research and discovery, and contribute to local and global development through creativity and innovation.
The Exposé is an opportunity to showcase research and technological innovativeness at the University of Ibadan while establishing and/or strengthening scholarly links and fruitful collaborations within the University, Industry and Government. 

CONGREGATION ELECTION

The next meeting of Congregation is coming up soon to elect the representatives on Senate, Boards and Committees as indicated on the attached list.

Members are kindly requested to note the following regulation on election to Senate as stated in the University of Ibadan Act Second Schedule Section 5(4) as follows:

SPECIAL RELEASE MID-SEMESTER BREAK

At its emergency meeting held on Monday, 25 May, 2015 the Committee of Provost, Deans and Directors considered the current situation in the country as is affects the running of the University vis-a-vis lack of fuel to generate electricity.

The Committee advised the Vice Chancellor, who accepted and directed on behalf of the Senate, that students should go on a two-week mid-semester break from today Monday, 25 May, 2015, Lectures will resume on Monday, 8 June, 2015,

All students are advised to vacate the halls of residence.

ACU Centenary Awards to the University of Ibadan.

To mark its Centenary in 2013, the Association of Commonwealth Universities set up a fund to offer 100 small grants to early career academic staff of member institutions, who have had limited opportunities for professional overseas travel particularly to other commonwealth countries.

This year's batch of 40 awards saw 5 of our staff being recipients. They are as follows:
